Description
This course is designed to provide skills relating to the trends in men’s haircutting. Learners perform trend cuts using shears, razor and clippers.

  2. Drape a mannequin for a hair cut

    you select the proper cape for a haircutting service
    you place a neck strip between the cape and client's neck
    you place the cape over the back of the chair
    you position mannequin appropriately for the procedure

  3. Demonstrate flat top and crew cut haircuts

  5. Demonstrate head shaving

    by selecting the proper haircutting tools and products
    by using resources provided by the instructor
    Criteria
    you examine scalp for any abrasions or disorders
    you remove excess hair length with clippers
    you apply shaving gel and lather
    you apply steam towels
    you select proper tools for shaving the head
    you complete haircutting techniques within timeframe specified by instructor
