Description
Course provides an on-the-job training experience as part of related instruction for apprentices.  Trainees experience 40 hours at a correctional institution and job shadow with a qualified individual.  Apprentices will observe corrections officers in action, and apply practical experiences from the classroom to the specific work site. Apprentices will build skills working with both corrections staff and inmates.
