· Meeting all the technical requirements of a professionally constructed 3D asset for real-time development. Examples include but are not limited to: All normal are conformed and pointing in the appropriate direction, smooth surfaces not impacted by superfluous vertices, no welded vertices or edges, no inappropriate concave edges and no wasted texture space.

· Constructing organic models that will deform properly, maintaining their volumes based on their poly flow.
· Applying the precise modeling tools to create stable and predictable geometry.
Criteria
Support all the vertices, edges, and faces of a model as not to create duplicate geometry, holes, or other degrading artifacts which will break the integrity of the model
Construct moveable areas of the asset so the volume or shape of the geometry is not compromised when the asset is moving
Identify the correct modeling tools needed to create complex organic surface models while maintaining the structural integrity of the geometry

Use the multi-step processes required for creating professional real-time assets
Assessment Strategies
· Successfully producing various maps and materials required for professional 3D models.
· Creating the appropriate inputs and output required for specific shader FXs.
· Producing professional quality work at all tangible check-in points within the asset creation pipeline. Examples include but are not limited to: Thumbnails, Design Sketches, Pre-Textured Models, Textures, Materials and Renders.
Criteria
Generate any and all maps/materials required for their projects
Construct and apply the appropriate shaders to your projects to create the required FXs
Work is high quality at each stage of the pipeline to create an overall successful project

· The learner calculates the overall scope and working schedule predicated on the final deadline issued by the instructor.
