Civil Drawing 1
Course Information
Description
This is an intermediate course in computer aided drafting (CAD) software, with emphasis on civil engineering land development applications. It covers drafting of property boundary surveys, topographic surveys including point coding for automated point and line drawing, surface modeling, basic grading plans, volume computations, and critical settings such as linear units, coordinate systems and object styles. Software used is Autodesk’s AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
