Course Information
Description
This theory and clinical course promotes an understanding of diverse cultures by looking at cultures and healthcare systems within a host country outside of the United States. Students are exposed to health issues, needs, services, and systems within the host country. They will have opportunities to prepare and present health education, provide health care, and share in the history and epidemiology of the identified host country. This course requires students to travel outside the United States for no more than 14 days.
