Course Information
Description
In Phase 3 of the Curriculum Mapping and Development process, faculty will have an opportunity to gain a deep understanding of equity-centered evaluation principles and practices. This experience will equip faculty with the tools and knowledge necessary to implement equity-centered evaluation strategies in their courses.

    Explain equity-centered theories and principles
    Connect equity-centered evaluation principles to student sense of belonging
    Identify key elements that create a welcoming and safe environment for students and colleagues
    Describe insights gained from engaging with equity-centered theories and principles

  2. Analyze data related to implemented equity-centered intervention(s)

    Criteria
    Analyze data using equity-minded sensemaking
    Describe the role of different types and levels of data relevant to the change and/or intervention
    Summarize data analysis in a report

  3. Evaluate practices, policies, and course materials through an equity lens

    Criteria
    Evaluate the impact of previously implemented intervention(s)
    Implement ongoing self-assessment of practices, policies, and course materials
    Develop a plan of interventions to implement in the following semester(s)
