Description
ESL Advanced for Technical Careers and College Transfer - Module A – is designed for adult ESL students transitioning to the Workplace and/or College programs. Emphasis is on using English for Academic and Career Communication Purposes focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Other topics include polishing and using grammar at an advanced level, employing pronunciation strategies, and presentation skills. Integrated in the course are intercultural communication skills, employment and demonstration of cross-cultural competencies in a multicultural classroom, computer literacy, critical thinking skills, and problem-solving skills.
