Description
ESL Advanced Oral Skills for Technical Careers is designed for Advanced Adult ESL students preparing to transition to the Workforce, certificate or 2-year Technical Colleges. The course prepares students to listen and speak for vocational purposes or technical careers while learning career-specific discourse patterns, vocabulary, grammar, and digital literacy.

Demonstrate the ability to check on progress as it relates to projects at work, and seek clarification using tag questions. Compare an invoice and a purchase order and who uses them. Practice effective workplace skills by asking for advice and setting appropriate professional goals.
