Course Information
Description
The GED Reading/Writing 4 course is intended to prepare GED/HSED students to pass the Reasoning Through Language Arts Test. The course focuses on reading comprehension (75% informational; 25% fiction); writing (evidence-based essay development around readings and developing an argument); and language conventions and usage (grammar, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, and sentence structure). Students will also need a sufficient command of keyboarding skills for writing the extended response evidence-based essay.
