Description
Math 1 develops number concepts, mathematical language, and whole number topics. Participants learn to count, add and subtract up to three-digit numbers. Learners identify simple fractions and perform other simple arithmetic operations such as comparing numbers, using appropriate terminology, estimating answers, using money values, identifying common geometric shapes, finding perimeter, interpreting picture graphs and telling time.
