Course Information
Description
Apprentices will learn about dining room and visiting room supervision, examine reentry procedures, learn how to manage manipulative inmates, examine incapacitating agents and exposure, identify contraband, deal with female offenders, understand the life cycle of the offender and learn observation techniques to use when supervising inmates. Searching individuals, cells, and areas of corrections institutions are included in the course. Apprentices will examine the requirements for supervising both adults and juvenile offenders.
