Course Information
Description
Apprentices will be introduced to administrative rules and regulations pertaining to the Department of Corrections and correctional institutions. In addition, legal issues for corrections officers are discussed. The Prison Rape Elimination Act is also examined. Various Wisconsin State Statutes, administrative codes and standards are reviewed including DOC 302, 303, 306, 309, 310, 311, and 325.
