Course Information
Description
Course goal and scope includes all apprentice firefighters being able to identify, describe, and demonstrate ventilation practices and applications used in the fire service. In addition, apprentice firefighters will prepare a comprehensive outline and company drill regarding all types of ventilation and how it is applied. Learning objectives include ventilation methods, tools, applications, and tactics. Scenarios will be examined for assigned territories, including single family residential fires, large garden apartments, and big box buildings/schools.
