Course Information
Description
The course goal and scope is to prepare for natural gas and electrical emergencies. Learning objectives include conducting training and drills for natural gas, propane, and electrical utilities. Emergency response involving fires, structural collapses and medical emergencies are included. Electrical utility emergency response will be applied to utility services, individual consumers, and industrial plants. Motor vehicle crash response involving hybrid cars is included. Pre-planning, shut-off, and safety mitigation for each emergency is included in the course.
