Follow theory principles in haircutting procedures.Assessment Strategiesby completing the activities as assigned by Your instructor.by completing the test/exam.by completing the assessment of a haircut meeting the criteria in the Haircut Checklistby completing the Haircut Project/Portfolio meeting the criteria on the corresponding rubric.CriteriaYou will identify how points, lines, and angles relate to haircutting.You will define and diagram projection angles for each of the basic haircuts.You will define sectioning and distribution as it related to haircutting.You will determine how different guide/design lines are used to achieve specific results.You will identify the parts/areas of the head as crest, interior, exterior, temple, occipital, nape, crown, and vertex areas.

Follow proper infection control and safety procedures.Assessment Strategiesby completing the activities as assigned by Your instructor.by completing the test/exam.by completing the assessment of a haircut meeting the criteria in the Haircut ChecklistCriteriaYou successfully handle Your implements in a safe and sanitary manner during a haircutting procedure.You will sanitize Your hands before and after every client.You will remove all hair from all brushes, combs, clips, etc.You will use a recommended sanitizing agent for all hard surfaces.You will start each service with sanitized equipment.You will store all implements in a covered container.
