Description
This course will instruct the learner in basic computer use. Emphasis will be paced on using the computer to access information, produce expense reports, create a document, and organize files and folders.

  1. Use a computer to access information
    Assessment Strategies

    Criteria
    the apprentice attaches files to an e-mail
    the apprentice opens and files attachments where the apprentice wants them stored
    the apprentice logs onto the world wide web (www)

    the apprentice manipulates MS Explorer to manage files and printers
    e-mail is addressed to the person or persons for whom it is intended
    e-mail is clear, concise and without spelling errors
    e-mail communicates in a professional manner that reflects highly upon the apprentice and the apprentice employer

  2. Produce expense reports
