Course Information
Description
Prepares students for clinical affiliation by having them complete vision screenings on patients from the college. Class discussions are held analyzing the results of the screening as well as the student's performance.

  2. Produce three complete vision screenings utilizing skills group #1
    Assessment Strategies
    performing the vision screening procedures within 40 minutes
    scoring a minimum of 26 of 35 points
    explaining and instructing the patient to the testing procedures
    reporting the screening results to the patient
    performing a SII on personal performance
    preparing a report of the vision screening
    participating in classroom discussions of the vision screening
