Course Information
Description
Provides the knowledge and skills required to “translate” a part drawing into a program capable of producing the finished product. The student will utilize Simulatated Controls to conversationally define a list of required processes, cutting tools, and stock properties. This information is then assembled into a logical/optimum sequence. This program can then be used to produce a finished part. The course emphasis is structured to include classroom instructional theory and hands on operation of a Machining Center Simulator.
