Description
Planning and execution of cabinet, millwork and furniture projects are explored in this class. Additional areas of study include: Jigs & Fixtures, 32mm Cabinetmaking, Turning and an Introduction to CNC Programming.

  4. Assemble Solid Wood Buildups

  5. Fabricate Jigs and Fixtures
    Assessment Strategies
    In the lab
    By observation of peers
    Criteria
    you submit plans/drawings of a jig for approval
    you fabricate a jig
    you demonstrate the jig's intended use
    you label the jig with your name, date and intended use

  6. Produce Cabinet Doors

  7. Operate an Edgebander

  8. Produce Ready to Assemble (RTA) Joinery

  9. Install Running Mouldings

  10. Produce Turned Parts (Optional)

  11. Use a CNC Machine to Bore Holes

  12. Produce Frameless (32mm) Cabinetry
