Course Information
Description
Students will begin the development of a Business Plan for a Cake or Bakery business, along with learning about the necessary equipment needed for the different types of bakery operations. Information will be provided about the various legal entities possible to start a business. Samples of profit/loss statements will be discussed along with figuring ingredient cost-outs. Information on employee handbooks will be discussed and an outline written.
