Course Information
Description
Prepares students for National Registry of EMT Emergency Medical Responder exam, which is required for state licensure. Provides training in multiple aspects of emergency medical care required at the scene of an accident or sudden illness. Includes skills from the American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR, the Scope of Practice of the EMR, and the U.S. Department of Transportation National Highway Traffic Safety Administration with approved Wisconsin additions.
