Course Information
Description
This course will explore a wide range of topics related to the understanding of Hmong history, culture and diaspora studies. It will include discussion of the historical and cultural experiences in Southeast Asia and the experience of Hmong immigrants in Wisconsin and the USA. Students will develop critical thinking related to Hmong history, language, storytelling, art, religion, foods and other social and cultural issues.
