Description
American Foreign Policy [AFP] studies the development, implementation, and consequences of foreign policy decision-making over time by the US government. As a public policy area, AFP is significant for various political, economic, and cultural reasons. This course enhances understanding and appreciation of AFP regarding (a) why the United States interacts with other global actors, (b) how these interactions proceed, and (c) what are the outcomes the United States seeks to achieve.
