Course Information
Description
This course introduces the student to the composition, structure and history of the Earth. The student will investigate minerals, rocks and fossils and use them to interpret geologic problems. The student will also investigate the Earth s surface features and the processes that have shaped and produced them. To reinforce the course concepts, the student will interpret current data, geologic maps, and hand samples during the assignments and hands-on lab activities.
