Course Information
Description
This is an introductory course in Greek and Latin terminology and is designed to provide students with a working knowledge of biomedical terms and their related anatomy and physiology used in a variety of professions. The course will describe how scientific terms can be analyzed in a systematic fashion and defined with an understanding of Greek and Latin word parts. The course will also provide an understanding of anatomy and physiology of body systems that will help students interpret biomedical terminology relating to diseases, injuries, diagnostics, and medical treatments.
