Course Information
Description
Students will apply existing knowledge of performance technique on an individual instrument within a full concert band. Students will develop ensemble performance skills for woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. Intermediate-level musical repertoire ranges from original compositions for wind band to transcriptions and arrangements of popular music spanning several centuries. Two to three public performances will take place outside the regular rehearsal time each semester. Open to all winds, brass, and percussion following a seating placement audition with the conductor.
