Course Information
Description
This course provides the framework for a student to complete an individualized and in-depth global studies capstone project under the guidance of an approved faculty member. Faculty and student create a learning contract, establishing outcomes that align with our college’s global competencies. These credits can be used to fulfill the requirements for the Interdisciplinary Global Studies Certificate.

Identify an individual project that gives depth and meaning to specific coursework, research, and/or a study abroad experienceAssessment StrategiesWritten product - a narrative included in the project proposal and submitted to the supervising facultyConsultation meeting with supervising facultyCriteriaIdentify a meaningful theme that runs through your coursework, research, and/or study abroad experienceChoose an appropriate format for the final project (this may already be dictated by the supervising faculty)Consult with the supervising faculty for brainstorming, reflection, and approvalWrite 200-300 words and include the title of the proposed project, the project format, and a main idea or theme
