Description
This course is an analysis of the principles of strength of materials as they apply to various fasteners, welded joints, beams, and shafts through practical design and analysis problems. Topics covered include simple stresses, mechanical properties of materials, center of gravity, moment of inertia, shear force and bending diagrams and beam design.
