10606141Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing
Course Information
Description
Students are introduced to the engineering practices of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, including an introduction to the symbols and terms, datums, material condition and boundary condition, and the commom tolerances used in accordance to the current ASME Y14.5 standard. Application on mechanical drawings will be used to document the GDT requirements for a given part, then inspected in the quality lab using a CMM.
