Examine the OT service delivery models for physical disabilitiesAssessment Strategiesthrough an oral, written or graphic assessmentCriteriayou identify areas of practice within OT practiceyou relate the domain of OT to the physical rehab systemyou articulate the unique role of the OT physical rehab systemyou compare the physical rehab system with educational and family systemsyou compare the legislative provisions by age group
-
Gather data for the purpose of physical rehab screening and evaluationAssessment Strategiesthrough a case studyin class discussionCriteriayou identify appropriate screening tools, assessments and checklists for physical rehab practiceyou gather evaluation data in the areas of occupational performance, behaviors and skills within the context of the clientyou assess and monitor vital signs
-
Administer physical rehab assessments based on patient (client) profileAssessment Strategiesin the laboratory with fellow studentin oral, written or graphic assessmentgiven a case studyCriteriayou demonstrate use of standardized and nonstandardized assessmentyou compare results with norm-reference datayou identify problem areas requiring treatment interventionyou prioritize problem areas requiring treatment intervention
