Course Information
Description
Lectures and labs cover diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and adjusting Fuel systems found on Heavy Equipment.  Primarily Diesel Powered.  Including Distributor pump, Inline pump, Electrical and Mechanical Unit Injectors or pumps, Mechanical and Electro-hydraulic nozzles.  Course will also touch on some emerging alternate fuel sources as well as after treatment options.

    when the diesel fuel injectors have been tested on a injector test stand and they perform according to the manufacturers specifications
    when the diesel fuel injectors have been removed from the engine, replaced back into the engine, the adjustments have been made, and the engine performs according to the manufacturers specifications
