Description
This course will provide basic introductions to software used in the interior design industry. Introduces students to computer-aided drawing for interior design of two-dimensional with a focus on technical drawing conventions for construction documents.

    No broken/double lines, no segmented lines, lines are trimmed/meet precisely at edges or corner.
    All lines are drawn straight.
    Layer Management/Lineweights:
    Appropriate drafting standard lineweights applied throughout drawings.
    Linetypes and linetype scale are representative.
    Communication:
    All drawing titles labeled correctly.
    Callouts (multileaders) communicate the correct information from drawings and schedules, including placed in the correct locations.
    Titleblock contains the correct information.
    No spelling errors.
    Annotations:
    Text styles are applied appropriately for multiline text, multileaders, dimensions; all room labels are included and underlined; notes/callouts included with proper settings; all dimensions are included with proper settings

  4. Draft a complete reflected ceiling plan, architectural drawing (Part 2 of construction document set)

    A4.0 drawing titles labeled correctly.
    All symbols include correct door/window/finish codes.
    Finish Notes and Finish Symbol Legend updated and correct information.
