Course Information
Description
Each student finalizes a series of animations and other artwork to be posted online highlighting his/her capabilities. The collection is targeted to potential employers and/or to four-year animation degree programs for further education. In addition, each student prepares a professional level 2D portfolio and a personal ID package (stationary, business cards, etc.) and is required to participate in the year-end portfolio show in conjunction with other art degree programs.

    Selected samples reflect a diverse variety of work

  4. Produce a professional art portfolio

    Primary and secondary art skills are presented in video format
    Demo reel is no less than 30 seconds and no longer than 2 minutes in length
    3rd party content is properly credited during or at the end of the demo reel

  5. Complete a cover letter and resume

    Cover letter outlines what makes the applicant worth hiring
    Resume and cover letter are formatted effectively and free of spelling errors

  6. Build an online presence

    Non-video portfolio content is accessible online through a custom website or an art focused website such as artstation.com
