Description
The course presents the traditional phases of a project lifecycle – initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing, as well as the empirical process controls like Scrum and Kanban. The course will focus on managing the project charter, project scope, cost, integration, schedule, quality, communication, risk, resources, stakeholders and procurement as well as organizing a daily scrum meeting, updating a project backlog, completing a sprint, testing, and iterating into a new item from the product backlog. MS Project will be used to create important project deliverables. Group work, organizational skills, teamwork, collaboration, and oral/written communication skills will be emphasized.
