Course Information
Description
Students must complete a 144-hours of internship with an approved fitness/recreation/wellness agency. The on-site practitioner and internship coordinator supervise the student's progress. Recommended for students who have completed two full semesters of program coursework and have an overall GPA of 2.0 or higher.

  1. Summarize students' roles and responsibilities

    Criteria
    you attain appropriate internship assignment
    you complete "Internship Agreement" with employer
    you complete Internship Log
    you submit "4-week Student Questionnaire"
    you complete all "Student Evaluation Reports" at the completion of internship
    you submit all Student and Employer Evaluation Reports by the specified date
    you obtain verification of 300 work hours from employer(s)
    you seek help from Teacher/Coordinator when needed

  2. Summarize employer's and supervisor's roles and responsibilities

  3. Demonstrate Recreation skills
