Course Information
Description
In this course, students study the various components of store operations and store management, and are responsible for planning, organizing, managing, and leading all aspects of a store operation to include creating organizational culture, building and leading a team, managing general operations, and managing finance, revenue and profitability. Students study the principles of creating an inclusive work environment. The course will view operations from a small family-owned business to a large big-box operation and from a brick-and-motor to online/virtual store.
