Course Information
Description
Managing, buying, pricing, selling, planning sales promotions, and stock keeping are the major functions of a retailer. The activities of this course simulate all aspects of retailing. Students will practice store policies, design the store layout, select merchandise for resale, and experiment with all areas of sales promotion. Everyone will receive experience in record keeping, sales, and promotion.
