Course Information
Description
This course covers the theory of operation, service and testing of HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) units used to cool and heat the operator's station. Lab work consists of leak detecting, evacuation, recycling, re-charging, retrofit procedures, component location and installation. Electrical circuits and troubleshooting of systems will also be covered. National ASE Certification test will also be issued to the student.
